SOS 21: Serious Gaming in a Virtual World to Save the Real One

by: Eliane Alhadeff

SOS 21 is a Serious Game which allows us to have a better idea concerning our rights and obligations towards the sustainable development challenge.

Serious Games challenging us to play a better future

The ultimate goal of the this free MMOG is to anticipate the impact of our daily actions on the environment and on future generations in particular.

By creating a resident (avatar) in a virtual community, you will be able to analyse the impact of your actions on the environment and you will be able to compare them to your neighbours’ results.

SOS 21 is scheduled to go live mid April. In the meantime enjoy the demo at http://sos-21.com/teaser.swf.

I absolutely love this development and hope to see console games equally as interactive and engaging as say a first person shooter.

A reality life gaming with social conscious or
cause related games.

Perhaps when we launch we can feature the site and help with the development of a one for the Hispanic Market / Spanish speaking world.
